This year's Country Fair/Barn Dance Weekend sponsored by Friends of Jay Homestead was one of the most successful yet and there are many who made this possible. The food you provided for these events was terrific and we are particularly grateful to you for the donation of two beautiful gift baskets.

"I don't usually write letters like this, but your Sweet and Hot Italian Sausages are so good, I had to send you my compliments. My girlfriend introduced me to your sausage while I was visiting her.

To explain: I live in central New Hampshire and my girlfriend lives in Cortland Manor. I love your sausage so much that now, every time I come down to see my lady, I bring a cooler and purchase several pounds of each type to bring home.

By far, your sausage is the best Italian style sausage I have ever had. To say that I enjoy your product would be an understatement!"

When I came in to make arrangements for picking up the wedge, Teri, your front end manager (always busy!), walked me right over to your deli/catering person., Charlie. Both Teri and Charlie exemplify the "Turco Way", for both were efficient, gracious and most accommodating.

"Thank you so much for the fabulous job you did on catering my party yesterday. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. Joe, in catering, took great care of me throughout the planning process. Thank you for sending over the delicious cheese cakes and tiramisu. Everyone raved about them, the salmon and the filet. Kenny said the hot dogs were the best little hot dogs that he ever ate! All the appetizers were well received, The party was a smashing success and I owe you a big “Thank You”. I will call on you again for future parties. "

Everything was presented nicely, the hot food was hot, and was delivered on time. The gourmet breads were so fresh, and 1/4 sheet birthday cake was a feast for the eyes as well as the stomach!

"With Thanksgiving nearing, I wanted to say how thankful for your store in our area. There's quality, freshness in produce, meat, dairy as well as courtesy and professionalism throughout your store, which only means happy employees which translates into happy customers.

Every area of your departments shines out even your Pizza Department. With a caliber store like yours, you did not ignore importance of that arena. Very smart on your part for our young generation to grow up and learn about quality pizza which lead to quality adult foods later in their lives.

My teenage children can go to any pizza establishment in the neighborhood but they always ask for Turco's Pizza. Your Pizza staff are not only friendly but obviously know how to pull together a gourmet pizza department as well. My husband and my children usually are greeted by a gentlemen named Frank, that is what my children and husband call him, and we absolutely love his pizzas, garlic knots, vegetable roll, bus especially his pizzas. So allow me to express our appreciation not only from my family, but mutual friends and neighbors for an upscale store that satisfies every family member in every age group. Pizza anyone!?!?

"This past May as I was planning my son's high school graduation party I was a little overwhelmed when my son requested his party be held at home. I wanted to have the gathering at a restaurant so I would be able to enjoy the special event myself.

A co worker of mine suggested your establishment and after viewing your add for catering at home I went to your Yorktown Heights location and met with one of your employees Jerry Heidstm.

I explained to Jerry my concerns about having my son's graduation party at home and he helped me plan what turned out to be a wonderful memorable day. Jerry first suggested a staff of servers that turned out to be top notch and also helped me with every detail from appetizers to ice. There was not one item needed for me to get form a different location of business. I took advantage of your delivery service which also made things run quite smooth that day.

My sixty guests were quite impressed with the party and detail i had but it was truly with the help of Jerry Heidstm and your catering staff. Please pass my gratitude on to Mr. Heidstm he was certainly the reason for my son's graduation party to be a complete success."
